Good idea but not for those living outside of California

I am really terrible at cooking but I really wanted to learn how to show off to my wife since she cooks lunch and dinner every day for my daughter and I. KptnCook sounded like a great idea but I found the app lacking as it seems to be designed for people in California (they base the market prices and availability off of cosco and whole foods) who can go to the grocery store daily.

I think Im most likely in the norm being a person that only goes grocery shopping once a week so being able to see only one day at a time really limits what I can do. Also in the small town I live in we have none of the grocery stores they list (we dont even have a organic foods store) so if you dont live in a big city the app is probably not for you.

I applaud the teams idea but unfortunately like most startups hey are focusing on Silicon Valley instead of the real world. 3 stars
