Great app that keeps you motivated to try something new everyday! The recipes were delicious without exception and have really shown me lots of new ways to cook healthy, inexpensive food. Thank you!

Great concept, great app, but in German.

Makes cooking fun!

Receiving (app update) notification that the app has now been "release(d) for the US Apple App Store", I thought third times the charm so I downloaded it for the third time and tapped to open but instead of seeing recipes, I (continue to) receive the error message: "Internet overboard? Something went wrong. Try to connect later." WoW seriously?!? Suggestion: try a lil quality control via BETA testing BEFORE releasing!!

I hate when recipe apps tell what I need to make a dish but dont help me get this stuff together. This one is getting it right. Great work.

Cool app! Easy to navigate and joyful to look at. They don’t overwhelm you with hundreds of choices and give you just 3 options to choose from. Love it! Thank you!

Ive used this for a month and have already cooked 10 recipes. Simple instructions with useful step-by-step illustrations, amazing design and all recipes are under 30min. Perfect for quick weeknight meals!

This app is outstanding. They offer recipes using fresh produce and give the cook an idea of the total price, shopping list, cooking method and nutritional information. They make cooking fun and easy. Dont hesitate to download.

I am really terrible at cooking but I really wanted to learn how to show off to my wife since she cooks lunch and dinner every day for my daughter and I. KptnCook sounded like a great idea but I found the app lacking as it seems to be designed for people in California (they base the market prices and availability off of cosco and whole foods) who can go to the grocery store daily. I think Im most likely in the norm being a person that only goes grocery shopping once a week so being able to see only one day at a time really limits what I can do. Also in the small town I live in we have none of the grocery stores they list (we dont even have a organic foods store) so if you dont live in a big city the app is probably not for you. I applaud the teams idea but unfortunately like most startups hey are focusing on Silicon Valley instead of the real world. 3 stars

Love the new food blogger profiles, really cool to see who is behind the recipes. Recipes that always turn out delicious and step by step photos so you wont get lost halfway through. The only issue looking at the app for two long will induce cravings- luckily youre only 30 minutes away from an amazing meal. Its the no excuses cooking app, always simple and achievable perfect for busy people who want to cook wholesome, homemade meals.

I truly love the step-by-step pictures and the smart shopping list with prices! Keep up the good work!

Although it would be nice to have european metric system with english language (not german)

Ive been using the app for a few weeks now and Ive been able to cook some delicious meals. I would highly recommend it if youre vegan/vegetarian!

The new location feature makes is super easy to find a close grocery store ! I love whole foods and comparing prices is super helpful to all the other grocers I use
